The move to Vodafone’s former call centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, is a significant investment for the company which was established in 2006 by owner Adam Whitehouse. Previously a Call Centre for Vodafone holding more than 800 staff, TMT First has spent six months converting Holditch House into a combination of Offices, Distribution Centre and Repair Centre.
“Our new Head Office represents the growth plans I have for TMT First”, commented Whitehouse, “We have grown every year since 2006 and plan to further expand our core business pillars of Reverse Logistics, Outsourced Fulfilment and Customisation & Configuration."
The new HQ will enable TMT First to have a 30 man Repair Centre, Distribution Centre with space for outsourced fulfilment partners and office space to expand. “We are creating a facility which our partners, whether Vendor, Retailer or Distributor will truly benefit from. Plus we are increasing the number of services we offer to our partners”, added Whitehouse.
TMT First was established in 2006 and its customers include Virgin, Carphone Warehouse, Data Select, Exertis, Microsoft, Nokia and Sony.
The company currently employees over 70 full time employees which it hopes to grow to over 100 by the end of 2016.
