Managing director of Stream Networks, Matt Shanahan will be heading a team of eight members of staff who are intent on raising funds for Cancer Research by taking part in the Boys Beating Cancer Run at Newbury rugby club on July 27th. Stream Networks have donated 1000 energy gels and an equal number of chocolate bars, to be included in the goody bags given to participants.
The organisers of the event wish to encourage more runners to take part in the event, so as an incentive Stream Networks have donated a prize. 1,000 individually numbered plastic ducks will also be included in the goody bags, at the end of the run a number will be drawn and the lucky winner will receive the prize of a free router plus a year’s free high speed broadband connection.
Matt & Technical Support Manager Carl Dobner are hoping to gain extra sponsorship by agreeing to run in duck suits. Donations to Cancer Research can be made via The Boys Beating Cancer Run link at htpp://www.justgiving.com/streamnetworks
