The updated platform now offers all the information needed by the OTS hub to ensure compliant real-time data exchange, providing customers with a smooth and hassle-free service provider switching experience, the billing provider said.
Ofcom introduced the One Touch Switch policy to simplify the process of switching service providers for UK consumers. Under the new process, customers can request a switch by contacting their newly chosen provider, who will then handle the entire process on their behalf, coordinating with the existing provider to ensure a seamless transition.
Elevate's compliance with OTS data requirements means that service providers using the platform have real-time access to all the information required by the OTS Hub, including contracted services, contract details and potential early termination charges.
