Mark Shane commented, “The decision to relocate the EMEA sales team to the UK recognises the importance of the UK market for Spectralink. Over the last two decades ICON has built up a strong brand presence in the UK for Specralink solutions and is now the top UK sales and support resource for Spectralink.
Moving the EMEA sales team from its base in Denmark to the UK opens the door for even closer working ties between Spectralink and ICON. This will be a major benefit for our channel partners and their customers.
We see an exciting future for our channel partners as a result of a closer relationship with Spectralink. With Spectralink’s support we expect to rapidly expand the UK market for in-building wireless and enterprise smartphone solutions linked to a range of critical messaging and business applications in the key sectors of manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and healthcare.”
The UK is an important market for Spectralink and Jay Anderson, vice president of global sales and services, will lead the EMEA operations. He has commented, "While there's no doubt the UK is a pivotal market, we want to push our portfolio to the entire continent,"
Dan Mondor, CEO of Spectralink recognised the importance of the move when he commented , “We are committed to building our portfolio of DECT, Wi-Fi and enterprise smartphone solutions to serve our customers’ current and evolving needs, and to accelerate our growth across EMEA. We look forward to working with our partners to drive further EMEA growth opportunities with our expansion to a vibrant and dynamic city like London.”
