Company launches two new IP end devices.

Snom has launched two new IP end devices and an expansion module for its D8xx series.

Snom’s D812 has four context-sensitive keys and a further eight which are freely programmable, as well as its reliable five-way navigation button. The new model of the D8xx series can be intuitively adapted to the user’s needs, whether it’s setting up call groups, speed dials or other similar functions.

Next in the D8xx series is the Snom D815W, which is a larger model. Like the D812, the D815W has antibacterial housing, a 5-inch TFT colour display and supports up to 12 SIP identities. The model’s two gigabit capability and its two USB 2.0 ports ensure maximum connectivity. It also has integrated Wi-Fi and a total of ten keys with up to 40 different functions.

Both end devices can be remotely configured using auto-provisioning or SRAPS.

Steven Try, channel manager for the UK and Ireland, Snom, said, “With the new D812 and D815W models, we are expanding the D8xx series with attractive options in the mid-price market; both offer high performance that meets the everyday needs of most work environments. The D812 and the D815W are affordable solutions for companies who value functionality, design and quality.”

Snom’s expansion module, the D8C, has a large, high-resolution colour display with a clear user interface. Up to three Snom D8C modules can be added via plug and play to a D8xx deskphone’s USB port. The module provides a complete overview of call activity while also providing the end device with a wide range of application possibilities.

Try added, “The D8C has been eagerly anticipated by our customers. The D8xx series has been very popular – these three new products are just the start of several other launches that we have planned for this series.”
