Commenting on the appointment, Alastair Mills, CEO at Six Degrees Group, stated:
“I’m delighted to welcome Mike to Six Degrees. As a well-established and close-knit senior management team, we make new appointments rarely and with caution but Mike is an exciting addition as one of the most respected operational leaders in the industry. We continue to grow at a very rapid pace and Mike’s role will be crucial to ensuring operational fitness and smooth integration across the Group and fast growth in our managed cloud hosting division.”
In response, Mike Ing made the following remarks:
“I had been working with Six Degrees on a consultative basis and I’m flattered that they have created a new role for me on the senior team. In less than a year, the company has become one of the real success stories in the UK managed data services sector and I look forward to helping the team reach new heights and achieve their stated goal of being a top 5 hosting provider. I’ve spent most of my career aligning people, processes and technology to launch great products with superb support, and the team here has the same philosophy and ambitions.”
