Paul Bradford, who has been SCG’s chief executive officer since a management buyout in 2002, will move to the position of executive chairman.
Pile (pictured above) joins SCG following a 21-year stint at Gamma, most recently as managing director of channel. He has experience leading wholesale, dealer and public sector business units.

SCG is a supplier of communication services that employs over 750 people across two continents servicing over 30,000 customers supported by its own SIP platform (Fuse2), tier 2 ISP network and two hosted telephony platforms.
The group operates across both direct and indirect channels with SCG Connected, SCG Wales, SCG Southwest, SCG Midlands and SCG Corporate forming the Direct business (comprised of over 30 acquisitions), and SCG Together (comprised of 2 Circles, NSN and Hello Telecom), representing the wholesale and partner channels.
Last week, Gamma announced that it has appointed John Murphy as managing director of Gamma Business, taking over Pile’s responsibilities.
