Rob is to move from his previous COO role to focus on implementing the business’ growth strategy.
Specialising in business transformation, organic growth, acquisition and business integration, Rob has built up a strong management team at Nexus to help the company achieve its ambitions.
“Both business and the telecoms industry have come a long way since Nexus started out life as a ringtone provider in 1999,” said Rob. “We work in a very fast paced industry with emerging technologies changing the way people communicate all the time, so we have to ensure we stay on top of our game, and are able to offer customers a future-proof multi-service communications solution to meet their business needs.
“We have spent a lot of time over the past few years developing and reengineering the business for future growth and there was a real synergy between myself and our shareholders about the direction of the company going forward. This has given me the freedom and flexibility to deliver our ideas and help the business to thrive.”
More than 10,000 businesses work with Nexus for the supply of their communications services including calls and line rental, data services, business mobiles and phone systems. Under the leadership of Rob, the company is now looking at enhancing the range of managed services it can offer to customers through the acquisition of new partner companies.
“We are in a position where we have built up a strong infrastructure and policies as well as a capable, committed team. We are now looking to build on these foundations with the right strategic acquisitions. Integrating other like-minded companies into our business model is a win-win solution for everyone; increasing our capability and enabling us to continue to offer our customers the most comprehensive range of communications solutions as new technologies emerge.
“I am really excited about getting stuck into this new role and shaping the Nexus of the future for the benefit of our staff, customers and partners.”
