PXC Communications has agreed a partnership with Internet Services Providers’ Association (ISPA) to strengthen its links with the sector.
Following its operational separation from TalkTalk in March, PXC has been focused on establishing its independence and amplifying its intention to be a scale challenger in the wholesale market and the UK’s alternative networks aggregator platform.
PXC has already made strides by providing its around 1,000 partners with access to the most competitive fibre marketplace, thanks to its aggregation work with CityFibre, MS3, Freedom Fibre, Community Fibre, ITS and Netomnia/Brsk – plus Openreach – with plans to scale this list in future.
As the voice of the UK internet industry, ISPA are renowned for their lobbying activities and bringing together the innovation, knowledge and industry opinion of more than 100 UK ISPs, along with insight from nationwide regulatory bodies in events, working groups and online forums.
Working with ISPA, who drive collaboration on the prevalent issues impacting the internet industry to overcome challenges and encourage positive change to regulations to enable market development – will be critical in PXC progressing its FTTP strategy.
PXC’s head of regulation, policy and compliance, Katie Crellin, said, “A key part of PXC’s strategy is to become the UK’s leading alternative networks aggregator platform and offer the Channel, and the UK businesses it serves, the most reliable fibre connectivity, at the best prices. The forum ISPA has created, and the work they’re doing to encourage the market to work closer together, plays into our strategy and we’re really excited to be able to work with them to share our story and join their mission.”
Krystian Heald, head of partnerships at ISPA UK, said, “ISPA is delighted to have PXC join as a partner of our association. Our association is based on shared goals and collaboration from across the UKs internet sector and PXC, as an aggregator between fibre networks and ISPs, and an organisation who is committed to championing the sector makes them an ideal fit for our association. We are excited to have them become part of our community and look forward to working with them into the future.”
