The Distribution Manager’s role is to provide support to Aastra’s distributors in areas including sales growth, reseller recruitment and pre-sales. The hands-on management and development of relationships with distributors is one important way in which Aastra delivers extra value in UK and Irish markets.
Patrick has twelve years of distribution experience, with ten of those years spent at Scansource Communications as an account manager. Working with some of Scansource’s largest accounts, selling Avaya and Shoretel, Patrick also has experience with Panasonic, Swyx and Siemens voice platforms as well as other conferencing, call recording and video based products and services.
Patrick said of his appointment: “I was looking at taking on a new challenge in a vendor channel based position, hoping to put my years of distribution experience to good use. This role gives me a chance to do that. I will work to continue the growth of Aastra as a leading provider of enterprise communications by working very closely with our distributors.”
