In addition, the company has connected 2 million customers to the full fibre network, and is handling an average of 35,000 new orders every week.
Openreach has also announced that more than 40 communication providers (CPs) – including BT, Sky, TalkTalk and Vodafone – have signed up to its long-term wholesale full fibre pricing offer, launched in October last year.
Earlier this week, Openreach published plans to deliver full fibre in 12 new locations, as below, in Yorkshire, Lancashire and on the Isle of Wight.
