Ideal Networks’ new SecuriTEST IP innovation is a complete camera configuration, installation and troubleshooting solution which is fully portable thanks to a 10-hour battery life. It’s ‘QuickIP’ feature allows installers who are new to IP camera systems to quickly and easily connect to cameras without being network experts.
SecuriTEST IP is a complete installation and troubleshooting tester for digital/IP, HD coax and analogue CCTV camera systems – that can power, configure and document. It supplies power to cameras via POE or standard 12v DC supplies using its internal battery which eliminates the need for external power adapters and injectors.
In addition the device creates professional test reports including screen shots to verify a job has been completed successfully and reduce unpaid call backs.
Gordon White, UK & Ireland Business Development Manager for Ideal Networks said the Manchester event was a resounding success. “It was a fantastic opportunity to meet customers face-to-face and engage in productive dialogue. We use the voice and opinions of our customers to design all our products and I’m delighted to say SecuriTEST IP has received a very positive welcome. It’s a fantastic product that will save installers both time and money and enhance overall customer satisfaction.”
A Halifax-based reseller was equally positive and remarked, “I’ve been very impressed by today’s event and the technology on show. It’s very important to know what’s going on and what’s changing in the marketplace. We’re only just moving into CCTV and the SecuriTEST IP device will undoubtedly help us to accelerate into this sector. It’s very impressive.”
