The announcement comes a year on from the acquisition of Nimans by Midwich Group.
Burn (pictured) has been with the company for 22 years and previously held the role of purchasing director.
He explained, “The true test though as to whether an acquisition like this will be successful over the long term however is how the businesses have connected culturally, and how the people have interacted with each other.
“It became very apparent early on that we share the same values in the way we treat our customers, suppliers and staff. That made integration easier, and the transition to a new senior management structure smoother.
“As we head into year two, the focus is on expanding and integrating the product offering further so that all customers can benefit while still being able to maintain the service they have come to trust over the last 35 years. We are sure Julian [Niman, the company’s founder] would be proud to see the growth of the company, and that its future is secure.”
