To celebrate the recent ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’ workers at its Manchester headquarters were asked to vote for their kindest, most thoughtful and considerate colleague. Beth Richardson from Leasing and Amanda Bowler from Dealer Sales attracted the most votes and won shopping vouchers.
Selected staff, drawn at random left early as an act of kindness by the company - whilst everyone benefited from free vending drinks all day too.
“As a Gold Investors in People company, we recognise the fundamental role staff play within our business,” said Investors In People Manager, Sue Goldfine. “Random acts of kindness often go unnoticed so we felt it was a good idea to recognise the many unsung heroes who work here, making life better for colleagues and customers. More than 50 people received nominations and the day was a resounding success. It costs nothing to be kind.”
