As Head of Channel, Lisette Sens joins the Zynstra team to drive its channel partner programme and build on its initial successes. Since making its solution available in July 2013, Zynstra, with its strategic partner Easynet, has added a number of channel partners, including BTA Ltd and TETip Ltd, who are actively developing a pipeline and signing up customers.
“Since our launch earlier this year, we have generated a very active and expanding channel pipeline, and we are investing in developing our channel relationships. The appointment of Lisette is a major step along this path,” said Zynstra co-founder and CEO Nick East. “The channel is fundamental to our business model so we needed someone with an exceptional track record and understanding of the market. Lisette has over 20 years’ experience in developing channel relationships with some of the world’s biggest technology vendors. Her experience and market knowledge will be crucial for Zynstra as we continue to build momentum through, and add to, our network of channel partners.”
Sold exclusively through, and managed by, the channel, Zynstra’s hybrid cloud technology redresses the balance between small and medium-sized enterprises and larger companies when it comes to IT. Zynstra Hybrid Cloud gives SMEs with up to 250 employees a fully managed IT system that combines the reliability and security of on-premise IT with the economics and flexibility of the cloud. This hybrid approach to the cloud is already favoured by many large enterprises but to date has not been economically viable for smaller companies.
“It’s fantastic to work for a company that is doing something unique in the market,” said Lisette Sens. “Working with the channel, you always want to be offering distinctive technology that solves real problems, which is exactly what Zynstra is doing. The technology means that SMEs no longer have to choose between an all-cloud approach or traditional IT, which is a very powerful message for resellers and end users.”
Mark Odams, Director at TETip: “We’re delighted to join the Zynstra channel partner network. Zynstra’s model is based around standardising IT, which makes it easy for IT service providers to manage hundreds of customers at any one time and offer them better service and flexibility at a lower cost. Zynstra enables service providers to open up markets in the SME sector, bringing hybrid cloud to smaller customers, while giving them the opportunity to provide extra value added services.”
Zynstra’s offering is based on the company’s own patent-pending 'keep current' and 'keep consistent' technologies to make sure that implementations are 100 per cent identical across all customer sites. This standardisation is key to making hybrid cloud affordable and giving SMEs hassle-free, enterprise-level IT with built-in reliability. The service is delivered on HP hardware and managed by IT service providers. It comes with all the fundamental IT capabilities including storage, security, backup, recovery and optional applications such as MS Exchange, SharePoint and the flexibility to handle other applications required by the business. Zynstra is available for a monthly fee with no upfront costs.
