The unique event will enable NEC business partners, NEC employees and F1 fans across the globe to meet Sauber F1 Team driver Esteban Gutiérrez and test driver Giedo van der Garde in person or through UC&C technology. To this end the live and interactive session will be linked to a video collaboration meeting via NEC’s UNIVERGE 3C solution and Display technologies.
NEC is Premium Partner of the Sauber F1 Team and this special Drivers Day will take place at the NEC Europe headquarters, just days before the next important race taking place at Britain’s major motor racing track in Silverstone.
After a general introduction by the Sauber F1 Team Marketing Director, Alex Sauber on the ins and outs of the Sauber F1 Team and F1, a live question and answer session will offer the chance for all participants – present at the event itself or online through live broadcast - to raise their your own questions to the men who sit behind the wheel.
For those attending in person at the NEC London office there will be photo opportunities with the drivers, while all attendees are automatically entered into a prize draw for 2 entries at the Silverstone race on Sunday 6th July 2014.
The Sauber F1 Team and NEC have been using NEC’s 3C solution for Unified Communications and Collaboration at other similar events to full satisfaction.
