Miles Bossom to scale Kilimanjaro for Cancer Research

MSPs
Founder and previous owner of Comms Business, Miles Bossom, has set himself a huge task in order to raise money for Cancer Research

Miles will be scaling Kilimanjaro this June and has a target of £4,000 to reach. Miles has been serving the Channel for years with magazines and events until in December 2017 he had to make the tough decision to sell the business in order to focus on his home life. Please help him raise funds for this worthy cause to fight a disease which has, and will, impact many of us and our families. Miles' story is below - you can donate on his Just Giving page here.

Many of you will have seen or spoken to Sarah Bossom at our events over the years, she had been by Miles' side since the beginning of the business. Miles and Sarah are pictured here at the Comms Business Awards in 2017 just 7 months before Sarah sadly lost her battle with cancer.

Miles' story

I lost my beautiful wife Sarah to Cancer on 10th February 2018, and as the anniversary approaches, both my dad and my mum are fighting their own cancer battles.

Life doesn't seem fair and it is not, but those of us lucky enough to wake up every day have a duty to live life to the full. We have a duty to help find a cure for a horrible disease which affects everyone of us in some way. Statistics show that 50% of us will have cancer at some point in our lives!

I don't like walking. Not unless I have a golf club in my hand anyway. But I had to choose a fundraising activity which I would find a challenge and that would make me suffer a bit. Nowhere near as much as someone fighting cancer suffers but I will suffer never the less. I will have to train, get fitter, stronger and cope with some hardship. But every step of the way I know that I will have someone pushing me from the other side.

Help me smash my £4K target by donating what you can afford. Share my page with friends so they can support me... please :)
