Richard Watson, managing director of Rapier Systems, commented; “I’ve known Ian for a long time and regard this move as pivotal to our growth plans. We have grown very rapidly over the last year in particular due to a surge in demand for wireless solutions, and we need to consolidate our presence especially in England. Ian brings deep, sector specific knowledge and strong commercial and technical skills that together will help us grow in a controlled manner.”
Maynard added; “I am delighted to be joining Rapier at this time of rapid expansion. The benefits of wireless networking are becoming increasingly widely recognised and the team at Rapier is perfectly positioned to capitalise on this. I believe my experience and knowledge will contribute to further growth and give support to the senior management team.”
