Malwarebytes, originally founded by Ernst and Young entrepreneur of the year Marcin Kleczynski, provides anti-malware and anti exploit protection to address today’s complex cyber threats designed to beat traditional anti-virus.
As part of an concerted push into UK markets, Malwarebytes recently opened a new European HQ in Cork and has made a number of senior appointments, including the ex senior VP at Trend Micro and a new team focused on developing the channel. The company has operations in Estonia and offices across North America.
Anthony O’Mara, Vice President, EMEA at Malwarebytes, said: “As a young fast-growing team with a product that addresses emerging threats, we need a distributor which is dedicated to helping us educate the market, as much as sell products.
“This is why we wanted to work with Kite Distribution. The company knows how to develop campaigns that help the channel understand the opportunity presented by next-generation technology, meaning customers understand the risk of not addressing these threats.”
Dave Marshall, Director at Kite Distribution said, “We operate a value added approach that focuses on a deliberately small portfolio of market leading vendors. By working with a selective array of products we are able to provide a significant amount of value to our resellers with the ultimate aim of creating pipeline and closing orders.
“Malwarebytes has a well earned reputation in the end point security market and we look forward to building a successful partnership”
