He has been recognised for his work with Outsourcery, the CSP he co-founded with his business partner Simon Newton in 2007 after buying and transforming telecoms provider Genesis Communications. Linney invested more than £10m of his own money after recognising the huge potential in the cloud, named by independent technology research firm Forrester as the fastest growing technology sector.
