The 28 year old from Leeds has joined Fluent on a full time contract, and will use his extensive contact centre experience to secure a number of new lucrative contracts. Previously working at British Gas Business and Contact Centre 33 he explains why he’s ready for the challenge, “Fluent Communication has achieved so much in four years and I’m excited to help the team continue to push forward and grow the business successfully.
“I’ll use my experience to ensure the day-to-day running and performance of the departments coincides with the business strategy and financial forecasts. I’ll be using industry experience to create 50 new seats by the end of March.”
Alasdair will be working closely with Jonathan Edgeley, CEO and he explains why having someone with this level of specialist experience is key at this stage. “Over the last four years we’ve not only become an established outsourced contact centre, we’ve also launched Fluent Futures, one of the UK’s largest training management services. So now it’s time to build on these foundations with Alasdair who can help us develop a fresh strategy.
“I’m delighted to have Alasdair on-board, from day one he has understood and shared my business vision. Within his first few days he has already implemented new strategies across the teams and recruited 12 new staff. Not only is this exciting for us as a business, but we’re improving employment prospects in Sheffield which provides us with even more of an incentive to grow.”
