“Nimans is offering a special reseller reward scheme so if they wish to upsell and include commission in their leasing deals they can either take the cash value or buy items from a catalogue of points-based options,” explained Group Sales and Business Development Director, Richard Carter.
“Speaking to Dealer Principles, they see this as a perfect way to reward their sales staff as an added incentive to sell more leasing. They recognise the benefits of customer retention and can increase revenue by using leasing for their end users - who even today require a further credit option from an overdraft or loan which is not as tax efficient.”
Carter added: “Nimans is seeing an increase in growth for leasing as we work hard with resellers and introduce new products into the market to make it easier for them to sell more equipment to their customers.”
Nimans has also recently launched its own hosted telephony platform which lends itself perfectly to leasing, according to Carter. “GS-hosted includes three years hosted servicing with each handset price which means resellers using leasing can claim the full margin upfront.
“In addition, working with our Unify, Panasonic and Samsung teams we are offering non contracted residual value leasing rates to reduce customer costs and allow them to obtain the full solution they need at a much reduced price. The three year option pricing is similar to a 0% finance deal and - as with any lease - the customer can offset the full 12 month rentals against corporation tax which makes the leasing option a very cost effective and tax efficient solution.”
Carter concluded: “Early in the New Year we are planning to launch a user-friendly portal for all resellers so they can input proposal details direct onto our system. However many already love the fact we are a free Lease Desk taking the painful paperwork processes away, providing them with a quick acceptance and fully prepared documentation.”
