ProVu has promoted Craig Herrett to managing director of sister company, Alliot Technologies.
The appointment comes as part of a strategic plan to support the further growth of Alliot Technologies.
Since joining ProVu in 2017, Herrett has played a key role in driving numerous strategic initiatives and supporting the company’s growth in his role as group sales director.
As a founding member of Alliot Technologies, he has now made the decision to transition full time to the position of managing director.
Herrett said, “During my time at ProVu we have experienced remarkable growth, and I have had the pleasure of forming lasting relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, many of whom I now consider friends. I remain a shareholder within the business and will continue to follow the progress that the team make.
“Although my decision to step back from my day-to-day role at ProVu Communications is bittersweet; I will miss the dynamic telecoms market that ProVu operates in, I am thrilled to be able to focus on the opportunities that lie ahead with Alliot and I am excited to help drive and accelerate growth in the IoT market.”
ProVu chairman, Darren Garland, said, “We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and progress Craig has made to ProVu. This change has been a long time coming, forming part of a strategic plan we’ve been busy implementing over the last 12 months. I’m excited to continue to work alongside Craig and see what we can deliver for Alliot.”
