Last week OneCom was named Vodafone Platinum Partner of the Year.
OneCom, based on the Solent Business Park at Whiteley, is one of the largest independent providers of mobile voice and data, fixed line, IT and unified communications solutions.
It was formed when Premier Telecom and Business Phones Direct joined forces last month to become one company with a staff of nearly 300 workers.
Premier Telecom was named Platinum Partner of the Year when the scheme launched in 2010 and again in 2011 – meaning OneCom’s management have held the honour since the scheme began.
Vodafone accredits companies at three levels – Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Just 25 companies achieve Platinum level and only one is picked as Platinum Partner of the Year.
Darren Ridge, Chief Executive of OneCom, said: “I’m delighted to have received this accolade for the third year running.
“It’s in recognition of the hard work of our team and it shows that even as the company grows bigger, our focus remains on excellent customer service.”
To get Platinum status, companies must meet a tough set of criteria. They include having consistently excellent customer service and demonstrating a high level of product knowledge throughout the company.
