G.Network resumes build programme across London

G.Network, London’s full fibre broadband provider, has recommenced its build in Camden, Hackney, Islington and Kensington and Chelsea.

The company paused building last year whilst it carried out a strategic review. Since then, G.Network has adopted a hybrid build approach that uses its own network alongside third party infrastructure.

Following successful trials, G.Network has recommenced building across the four boroughs using that new model. The company said this approach will enable it to “deliver a unique network for London that will broaden coverage quickly”.

The efficient and sustainable model will accelerate G.Network’s unique network footprint while minimising the disruption that can be associated with infrastructure installation in London.

Kevin Murphy, chief executive, G.Network, said, “We are dedicated to delivering fast and reliable broadband to the capital and recommencing the build in these four boroughs shows our commitment to growth.

“We have a fantastic wholly owned ducted network in the heart of the capital and having trialled the new methods, we are confident we can efficiently broaden our coverage, with minimal disruption to London.

“We’re excited about this effective route to extending our footprint and strengthening the growth of our business.”

G.Network has a reseller partner programme that allows channel companies to set their own prices and contract directly with customers, whilst giving access to G.Network’s support team. In October last year, the company announced Spitfire as its first wholesale partner.
