Malizia (pictured) will oversee Glide’s sales growth across all business segments, with a brief to encourage the rapid adaptation of Glide’s FTTP services.
He joins the company with over 20 years of experience, having previously worked in sales of dark fibre, optical fiber multiplexing and domestic and global connectivity.
Richard Malizia, business sales director, Glide Group, said, “As a key focus, I’ll be managing the design of smart building solutions for high-density public places, student accommodation, city centre residential spaces and flexible workspace environments.
“I’m looking forward to engaging new colleagues, clients and partners to share the Glide story of the next generation connected campus and business networks.”
Malizia’s appointment marks Glide’s continued expansion of its sales team, with Danny Wyroll appointed sales director of shared living earlier this year. The news follows Glide’s recent acquisition of Velocity1, a subsidiary company of Quintain.
