The new offering is a single line voice replacement and is suited for use by smaller businesses and residential users that do not need enterprise-grade features.
The launch of HV.Select Express coincides with the nationwide stop sell of WLR, with the licence including access to a purpose-built softphone application for desktop and mobile, basic call handling features and an inclusive call bundle.
Similarly to other products in Giacom’s HV.Select portfolio, Express uses the BT BroadWorks platform which offers users a secure and reliable voice solution for the digital future.
Terry O’Brien, CEO, Giacom (pictured), said, “We’re excited to be building on our comprehensive portfolio of IP Comms licences to give partners and their customers a choice of solutions to suit every eventuality.
“HVS Express is the ideal solution to serve the UK SME market, particularly the 76.3 per cent of SMEs that are single-person enterprises.”
This new licence type expands Giacom’s all-IP portfolio. Other voice replacement products offered by Giacom include the Hosted Mobile User licence, launched in 2018, or the newer Foundation licence, introduced in 2022.
