Under the new partnership, Giacom and DWS will supply Intec Group with a broad portfolio of cloud and comms services from vendors including Microsoft, BT, Neos and Virgin.
Intec Group serves SMEs and educational organisations across the UK from its headquarters in Manchester, as well as offices in Dublin, Newcastle, Sussex, Altrincham, Guildford and Cumbria.
Phil Astell, managing director, Intec Group (pictured), explained, “We’ve got ambitious plans for growth and we needed a strategic partner who can scale with us and offer unique value to the business.
“Intec offers a service to customers that our competitors cannot match and this strategic partnership expands that even further. I’m really excited to take this partnership forwards, delivering real value for our customers and the Channel as a whole.”
Mike Wardell, CEO at Giacom and chief commercial officer at DWS, added, “We’re delighted to announce this strategic partnership with Intec Group.
“Intec and ourselves share many of the same values, in particular our commitment to deliver exceptional customer service and our people-centric approach. We each have ambitions to grow within the Channel and this partnership will enable us to do exactly that.”
The new strategic partnership builds on an existing strong relationship between Giacom and Astec Computing. Astec was acquired by Intec Group in May last year and this expanded partnership is a result of that deal.
The strategic partnership will allow Giacom, DWS and Intec to grow and develop together, strengthening the end-user experience for customers.
