Gamma Communications has announced the further strengthening of its partnership with Cisco with the launch of two new products.
Gamma has launched Horizon with Webex, a combination of Gamma’s Horizon platform and Webex by Cisco created with SMBs in mind. This allows all users of Gamma’s Horizon product to enhance their communication experience with the features of Webex. This extends the collaboration capabilities of the service, and through the range of services offered, enables SMBs to scale and adapt their communication strategies to meet today’s dynamic needs.
Horizon with Webex is built on Gamma’s network, which is relied upon by millions of users across the UK every day. This dedicated business network has supported essential services for years, ensuring robust, industry-standard encryption and offering 24/7 UK-based support.
Additionally, Webex Calling will be available both through Gamma partners as a wholesale offering and directly to enterprise and public sector customers. This service, named Webex for Gamma, will deliver enhanced communication capabilities to a wider range of businesses across Europe. All variations of this solution draw on the strengths of both companies, combining Cisco’s leading collaboration technology with Gamma’s deep expertise in voice, connectivity and managed services.
Gamma has also further strengthened its expertise of Cisco products and implementations through the acquisition of BrightCloud Group and Placetel. BrightCloud Group, a Cisco authorised reseller of Webex Contact Centre services, was acquired in July and will significantly enhance Gamma’s managed service, customer engagement and support.
This month, Gamma acquired Placetel, a cloud PBX provider in Germany, allowing companies to buy Cisco Collaboration solutions both digitally and through local partners. These acquisitions demonstrate Gamma’s commitment to deepening its collaboration with Cisco and expanding its footprint in key European markets.
