Delegates were treated to popcorn as they took their seats to hear from CEO, Bob Falconer and Managing Director, Daryl Pile on market trends and direction for 2018 and then from the Gamma sales and product team about the latest developments across the entire product suite – Voice, Data, Mobile and Cloud.
To tie in with the guest speaker James Kerr – business consultant and author of the bestselling book ‘Legacy’ which provides a unique insight into the most successful sporting team of all time, The All Blacks – the Gamma speakers were required to throw a rugby ball as they came on and off stage, with the penalty of £50 a drop. Throughout the course of the events, £5,000 was raised for two deserving charities - SpecialEffect and Action Through Enterprise.
Daryl Pile, Managing Director at Gamma commented: “2017 was an immense year for product launches and developments and 2018 will be no exception. As our product range expands, it is essential that we continue to provide opportunities to not only share our latest plans and developments, but also to listen to our partners, to ensure we are delivering solutions that they need. We were delighted to welcome our channel partners right across the country to our roadshow and are thrilled with the feedback we’ve received.”
Ben Le Feuvre, Head of Network Services at Sabio Limited commented: “We thoroughly enjoyed this year’s Gamma Roadshow at the IMAX in London. It was great to hear from so many different people from the Gamma Sales and Product teams. The presentation gave us an in depth view of the 2018 plan for product development and a unique insight into the market and the opportunities we should be targeting. As always, it was a great event and we were left with new ideas that we can build into our business immediately.”
Stuart Smallcombe, Director at LG Networks commented: “As a new Gamma partner, the Roadshow was an excellent opportunity for us to see the comprehensive suite of services that Gamma offer and all the exciting updates and product development they have planned for 2018. The format of the day along with the cinema venue made for an excellent morning, followed by a great opportunity to network in the afternoon.”
