The Sunday Times award lists the top 100 companies to work for in the UK based largely on employee survey and judged according to performance in eight key areas: Leadership, wellbeing, giving something back, personal growth, fair deal and how members of staff feel towards their manager, company and team.
Gamma attended the awards dinner at Battersea Evolutions on Thursday 25 February where it was announced it had achieved 46th place in the top 100. A total of 925 firms registered to take part in this year’s employee engagement survey with 79 new entries making it into the top 100.
Pam Williams Head of HR commented: “We are really proud to have achieved recognition again as being one of the top 100 Companies in the UK to work for. Gamma has grown considerably over the last year so there is a real buzz around the team. So what is the secret of our success? Put simply, it’s the people! Everyone in the Gamma family is passionate about what they do, they are supportive of one another, have a positive ‘anything is possible’ attitude and care deeply about delivering quality for our customers. It truly is a great place to work.”
Gamma also recently received the Best Companies 2016 Accreditation Standard. Jonathan Austin, CEO and Founder of Best Companies said, “I would like to congratulate Gamma on their outstanding achievement. Our role at Best Companies is to support and encourage organisations to be great workplaces for their employees. An engaged workforce means happier, healthier, more productive and committed employees, which is clearly good news for all. We are delighted to recognise Gamma by awarding them 2 star status in our Accreditation standard.”
