The W300 - makes its first public appearance at Convergence Summit South - and combines easy set-up with a host of user friendly features such as up to 9 hours talk-time, 35 minute quick recharge and a ‘traffic light’ battery indicator that illuminates even when the device is worn. ‘In use’ indicators are included on the base station and headset to minimise interruptions.
The headset took three years to develop and includes a personalised naming tag, choice of wearing styles, replaceable battery, 130m operating range, magnetic docking and a ‘bleep’ charge early warning alert. Each docking station can be paired with three headsets for training or conference calling. Full control feature buttons including a mute option form part of a stylish compact design that minimises desk space.
Nimans’ Group Sales and Business Development Director, Richard Carter, says the device is a compelling new addition to the respected Radius headset range – and is compatible with any desk phone.
“Wireless headsets have been proven to boost productivity and efficiency as anyone who spends just three hours on the phone can save 20 minutes every day by using a cordless device. The W300 provides dealers with a high quality solution at a very competitive price point to create many new sales opportunities. We are confident it will be a tremendous market success, with many enquiries generated even before its official launch.”
The W300 has an RRP of £169.99 and is complemented by a slim and discreet optional lifter. A Radius amplifier/control box for telephones without a headset port is also available,
