With this acquisition of Dataflex, Eseye continues a successful year by acquiring operations and customers in Asia-Pacific, Africa and Europe. The deal will be concluded in the first half of 2013 when Dataflex staff are expected to move to Eseye’s facility in Guildford, UK.
Julian Hardy, founding CEO of Eseye, believes that the move has come at a good time for both companies. “We’ve always enjoyed a good relationship with Dataflex and share their commitment to world class product design and impeccable customer service. When we worked with them on our popular Sunbird router, which integrates an Eseye embedded AnyNet™ SIM and back office services, we saw an exciting opportunity to harness their products and expertise to help us meet increasing customer demand.”
“It's the ability to address the market with an integrated solution that offers everything from device design to data management that’s driving Eseye’s appeal,” says Hardy. “This acquisition is an exciting venture for both our customers and employees, and as demand for our services grows, the combination of the two companies will help us to boost our resources and broaden our customer reach.”
The deal will allow Eseye to further integrate its connectivity solutions and suite of back office services for device management into the Dataflex product range, as well as to streamline Dataflex’s production process. Customers can expect a faster, more efficient service, while Dataflex’s experience and product design capabilities will help to deliver quality M2M solutions to a wider client base.
