Dunedin IT announces record turnover

MSPs
Dunedin IT has returned its highest ever turnover of £2.1m in its latest financial year end results. This represents 40 per cent growth in revenue over the past three years.

The Edinburgh-based MSP was able to attract a number of new clients over the past 12 months, after making significant investments in staff and technology.

Those investments included opening a new head office, enhancing its service offering, and hiring a number of new employees across the UK to bring the MSP closer to customers.

Dunedin IT’s growing reputation and standing within the sector was further enhanced after it signed an exclusive cybersecurity partnership with Acronis. The partnership has also led to a lucrative sponsorship of Scottish Premier League side, Hibernian FC, which has seen the Dunedin IT branding feature on the first team kit (pictured above) and throughout the stadium.

Jamie Clague, director, Dunedin IT, explained, “We are delighted to have achieved these latest results in difficult trading circumstances over the last year. Challenges with the cost and availability of hardware, alongside a turbulent period to recruit talent in information technology, have ensured we’ve had to work harder and smarter than ever to succeed.

“Our team is now spread across the UK, giving us greater reach than ever before and the ability to cover the entire country.”

David Inglis, director, Dunedin IT, added, “In addition to our record turnover, this year also saw a number of notable achievements by the team of which we are particularly proud. The ISO 27001 and 9001 accreditations were incredibly hard work, but confirm our commitment to quality.

“We were recognised by industry with a number of awards and also achieved Cyber Essentials Plus, all of which have helped raise our profile and attract new customers. Our dependability and agility have allowed us to continue to deliver unique and complex solutions for clients such as Scottish Wildlife Trust and The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland.”

Dunedin IT expects further growth in 2023, with a focus on cybersecurity, virtualised IT, and low-code development. The company is also gearing up for the launch of Two Labs, which will provide specialist cybersecurity services. David Inglis will take up the role of managing director of Two Labs, with Jamie Clague to become managing director of Dunedin IT.
