Nimans says the flexible technology is ideally suited for small businesses, restaurants and hotels – providing resellers with a compelling new way to capture additional sales.
Ian Brindle, Nimans’ Head of Conferencing and Telephony Sales, says the 312 is one of the few products on the market that blends both an analogue telephone system with DECT GAP compatibility at a highly attractive price point. It features a base unit, easy plug and play set-up (in minutes) auto attendant functionality and a capacity for three simultaneous calls.
“As this system is DECT GAP compatible you can add up to nine additional DECT handsets of almost any kind. Resellers also have the option of plugging in a traditional DECT corded desktop phone if desired. The multi-line flexibility and expandability make it perfect for small businesses, restaurants and hotels,” he pointed out.
The Alcatel handsets incorporate an LCD display with the availability of caller ID. They also include an internal phonebook, speakerphone for hands-free operation, call transfer and an intercom between handsets.
Ian added: “Set up is incredibly easy. All you have to do is plug your base unit into a phone line socket and plug your handset charger pods into the mains. As the phones come registered in the box you can use them straight away, without the added hassle of wiring.
“This is one of few products that mixes both an analogue telephone system and DECT GAP cordless telephone handsets, allowing resellers to set up a multiline handset network quickly and very easily.”
