At 8.30am on Friday 17th October, a team of 40 Daisy Wholesale employees will be climbing up and down Mount Snowdon in the hope of raising £5,000 for the nationwide charity against homophobic and transphobic bullying in schools.
Terry O’Brien, Managing Director at Daisy Wholesale comments: “One of our partners brought this particular charity to our attention, as its patron. It focuses on giving children the best chance in life and embracing people’s individuality, which is something I feel very strongly about. I truly believe that’s when you can get the best out of people and free up their brilliance. That is why we have chosen Diversity Role Models as our charity for this challenge, and a challenge it is sure to be!
“Not only will this be a great, and hopefully fruitful, fundraising event, a fantastic experience and a personal challenge for each individual, but I also expect it will be a great team-building exercise – all 3,560 feet of it.”
