The Gold Certification rounds off a significantly broad Cisco capability for Daisy Group, which includes the Cisco Advanced accreditation across collaboration, data centre services, security, WiFi and enterprise networks. The first business to receive the Gold Certification under the new FY16 regulations, the Group’s enriched skillset allows the provider to inject an enhanced level of agility into its customers’ businesses.
Neil Muller, Daisy Group CEO, comments: “In order for us to cater to the evolving needs of our customers, it is essential that we grow our capabilities in line with the dynamics of the converging marketplace. This certification of Gold Partnership with Cisco is an example of us doing just that.
“Cisco is one of our key business partners, and our continued investment enables us to provide our customers with the very best in business communications and IT infrastructure solutions and services. We are now able to offer our SMB and mid-market customers the option of a single provider, who has the capability and care, to support their complete telecommunications and IT landscape. In today’s ever-converging marketplace, I believe that puts us in a very strong position.”
The Group’s indirect partners will also be a key beneficiary of the new status, as Daisy’s partner services business will now be able to offer even more valuable support services to its SIs, telcos, VARs, and smaller reseller community.
Richard Roberts, Managing Director for Partner & Commercial Sales, UK & Ireland at Cisco comments: “We are delighted to be able to award the Daisy Group with this accreditation. The Gold Certification recognises businesses that have an in-depth level of expertise across the vast Cisco portfolio and can demonstrate high customer satisfaction as a result.
“The ongoing investment that the Daisy Group has made to ensure that they have the sales expertise and capability to deliver as a Gold Certified Partner is clear to see. As a partner with Gold status, the business will have access to a whole new level of support with which I am sure they will continue to thrive.”
The accreditation comes just months after the Group announced its success on 10 lots of the PSN (RM1045) Procurement Framework. Muller continues: “This new certification, coupled with our recent success on the PSN Procurement Framework, further strengthens our value within the public sector market.”
