Channel Telecom has been hosting its annual golf day in recognition of partners’ hard work for 9 years now and the event is widely anticipated across the industry.
The course, designed by Herbert Fowler in 1913, offers golfers an impressive 6,720 yards of play within a uniquely stunning tree lined backdrop that sweeps down towards Epsom racecourse.
Welcome breakfasts greeted the teams at the 19th hole bar, overlooking the course based in the South-Eastern countryside. Once stomachs were filled, guests headed out to follow in the footsteps of previous players such as Telly Savalas, Sean Connery and Jimmy Tarbuck to battle it out for the awards on offer. The competition was high and the dedication was admirable, every player focussed and hoping to be crowned Overall Golfer, Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin or part of the Best Team.
After a solid day of golfing, the players were invited to put their feet up and take some well-deserved rest at the members only Club where dinner was served. The awards ceremony rounded off the day with cheer and applause for what had been a fantastic day enjoyed by all.
