In a statement announcing the expansion, Callroute said the decision follows increased demand from businesses for external calling with the Cisco Webex suite and a greater need for integration with contact centre solutions.
With Callroute, users can now add PSTN capability to Cisco Webex to enable external calling in minutes.
Callroute aims to provide an alternative to other Webex calling options, removing barriers to adoption such as complicated configuration and integration processes, limited global capabilities and systems that lock users into existing PBX agreements.
With Genesys, Callroute said it delivers straightforward integration, a global telephony footprint and assurance of high call quality for the agents.
“The UCaaS industry is growing rapidly,” said Toby Gold, CEO at Callroute. “At Callroute we are constantly expanding our integrated calling solutions, building on the calling functionality and capabilities of collaboration platforms. Unified communication allows for increased business efficiency.
“However, we have identified that many other market players are bolting together multiple solutions from other providers to meet business needs, causing lengthy integration and higher costs.”
Gold said that the company aims to ‘make integrated calling simple’, enabling greater control, cheaper costs and an easy experience. Benefits of Callroute's technology include instant integration, flexible pay-as-you-go channel pricing and global coverage.
“Adding Cisco Webex, SIP Trunking and Genesys Cloud CX to the Callroute portfolio is an exciting release for us and will enable Callroute to revolutionise business telephony globally,” he added.
