Avaya Cloud Solutions, delivered by BT Wholesale, provides a ‘pay as you grow’ model for both the end customer and the channel partner. By making it possible for channel partners to purchase capacity and services only when their customers require, and removing the usual upfront purchase commitments.
Channel partners will be able to deliver Avaya Customer and Team Engagement Solutions to their midmarket and enterprise customers as a true utility, carrier grade, cloud-based service.
The joint service is available to new and existing customers with a managed migration path for existing customers to help them evolve from on-site to cloud based services. This ‘pay as you grow’ utility model helps mid-market, enterprise and government customers align their expenditure with their usage requirements, avoiding the need for long-term commitments which result in excess under-utilised capacity and divert scarce
capital from core activity. It is designed to enable businesses to respond quickly and flexibly to their customer demands, deepen their end customer engagement and improve revenue generation.
This service will be available exclusively from accredited channel partners through BT Wholesale.
On signing up to be the latest partner, Richard Pennington, Director at 4Net Technologies, said “4Net has established itself as one of the UK’s leading service focused communications specialists, and Avaya Cloud Solutions, delivered by BT Wholesale, is a natural extension of our customer offering. Avaya Cloud Solutions will allow us to build on our Avaya Aura strengths, and combined with BT Wholesale’s network and service delivery, we will be perfectly placed to meet the growing demand from our customers for cloud based services. What really excited us was the ability for us to control our own commercial strategy, and differentiate through our service and support, and we are delighted to be at the forefront of this transformational initiative.”
James Hennah, Director, Channel & Carrier, BT Wholesale said: “Having a number of partners signed up to our early adopter programme is a testament not only to the Avaya Cloud solution but to the confidence channel partners have in it and us. The shift from on-site to cloud based services is gaining momentum and we are looking forward to working with our partners to lead that charge.”
