The partnership will see Azlan recruiting, enabling and providing support to value-added resellers for Lakeside’s full SysTrack portfolio of big data analytics tools. VARs will be able to offer SysTrack licenses as part of their own value proposition, or take advantage of pre-packaged Desktop Assessment and Healthcheck services provided by Azlan and driven by Lakeside’s analytics software.
SysTrack is a set of detailed analysis tools that can be used to visualise end user compute infrastructure in order to drive out costs, monitor and manage user experience, and troubleshoot issues. It is also ideal for use in pre-installation assessments of desktop transformation and migration projects. It supports all major industry platforms, including Microsoft, Citrix and VMware.
With interest in virtual desktop infrastructure continuing to grow, there is a major opportunity with Lakeside for enterprise VARs, says Sarah Deller, Business Unit Director for Software at Azlan.
“Desktop transformation is one of the most exciting areas of the market right now. Lakeside’s SysTrack tools present resellers with the opportunity to offer in-depth analytics of end user compute infrastructure for pre-deployment assessments and troubleshooting of user experience issues. With SysTrack, VARs can deliver higher levels of service, extend opportunities and increase revenue potential.
“For Azlan, Lakeside is a valuable and prestigious addition to our enterprise VDI portfolio. It strengthens our ability to help partners maximise the potential of every desktop transformation project and deliver successful results for their end user customers.”
Commenting on behalf of Lakeside Software, David Taylor, Head of Channel and Alliances EMEA stated: “Azlan’s pedigree as the leading software and services value distributor, and the number-one partner for Citrix and VDI solutions in the UK, means it is ideally-placed to drive engagement and growth with Lakeside partners. In addition, Azlan’s established partnerships with both Microsoft and VMware gives Lakeside access to the broader community of VARs that are active in the UK virtualisation market.”
SysTrack can be used by systems engineers and consultants to analyse infrastructure, discover applications and assess the suitability of applications, users and physical desktops for deployment of virtualdesktop solutions.
Azlan will be looking to recruit new VARs to the Lakeside Partner Programme and will be providing extensive commercial, sales and technical training. Azlan will be looking for partners that already have some experience in desktop transformation. It will provide demonstration and proof-of-concept capabilities for SysTrack within its Business Solutions Centre and will also be supporting Lakeside partners with demand generation and marketing activities.
