Designed by AECOM, innovators in technical excellence for the built environment, and delivered by their multi-disciplinary industrial team, Volta’s refurbished Great Sutton Street Data Centre offers a highly resilient, secure and flexible IT environment, benefitting from a diverse 33kV power supply as well ultra-low latency connectivity for Volta’s customers in London and beyond.
Over a 12 month period 270,000 man hours have completely stripped and re-fitted the former Reuters data centre, while AECOM’s team have designed and delivered a variety of structural, architectural, geotechnical and infrastructure services, as well as CDM coordination during the renovation of the 91,000 square foot facility.
