Presenters at the event included Bernie McPhillips from O2 who outlined the partnership between O2 and Zest4, aspirations for the future and the importance of the channel in the strategy for growth for O2. Mark Lomas from Gamma outlined their partnership with Zest4 and the commitment to bring hosted telephony to the dealer market with Zest4 Horizon.
Zest4 launched the first phase of their partner portal and used the event to gain feedback on its current and planned functionality including customer management, e-contract and self-care. The first release of the portal will be with Zest4 partners at the end of November with further releases throughout December. The creation of the Zest4 portal is a key investment to ensure ease of doing business with Zest4 and putting control in the hands of the partners.
The majority of attendees were from a traditional mobile background and were keen and interested to find out more about the Zest4 hosted proposition. The day included group training and insights into how to integrate UC into a partner’s current base with support from Zest4. Over 90% of attendees expressed a desire to add hosted telephony and data solutions to their product portfolio and to work with Zest4 to achieve this.
