Gordon Smythe, Managing Director of distributor Capstan Communications, has told Comms Business Magazine that LG-Ericsson, manufacturer of the IPECS VoIP PBX system has made a strategic change to their brand name.
From today the company will be known as Ericsson-LG ‘to better represent the ownership and vision of the company’. This will result in fully leveraging the brand strength of Ericsson in the global ICT industry and their research and development capabilities. The company will also continue to leverage the global strength of LG brand awareness.
From Capstan’s point of view this is business as usual.
Gordon Smythe said, “The personnel we interface with on a daily basis have not changed and our reseller partners will continue to receive the high level of service from us that they have come to expect.”
