Snow’s role will see her work closely with 8x8’s growing partner base, ensuring a strong match between them and 8x8 to deliver channel and customer needs.
With more than 20 years of experience in the communications industry and a strong reputation for managing and developing client relationships, Snow will use her sales and commercial knowledge obtained from a variety of roles, market sectors and via direct and indirect channels to identify opportunities. She has previously worked at Avaya and Siemens Communications.
“Channel partnerships are vital to the success of 8x8 and I look forward to developing our relationships and results further,” she said in a statement. “There’s still so much we can do with our channel.
“What impresses me here is that at every level of 8x8 we are all about building solid relationships, that plays to my strengths and also demonstrates that we are committed to our channel strategy. With the right relationships we can ensure that we know exactly what our channel partners want and need.”
Snow added that channel business is never a case of ‘one size fits all’, and that each partner brings their own unique value.
“Our job is to find the balance between helping partners showcase that value, whilst maintaining a model and business offering that is not so bespoke it cannot scale.”
She described joining 8x8 as ‘refreshing’, praising the company’s ‘feeling of togetherness’.
Keith Jackson, VP for international channels, said: “Given Claire’s background and contacts, it’s great to have her as part of the 8x8 family. Bringing her on board only reinforces the importance we place on good, solid relationships with our channel partners and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve in the months ahead.”
