We just love this idea. Basically it’s a Tetra-Pak phone – made from coated but recyclable paper, sold as a flat pack which you put together yourself, cheap enough to lose or throw away. The paper is thin and light enough for the LEDs underneath to shine through – no screen needed.One idea would be to rent the
low-cost phones to busy travelers; when the rental period is over the phone can be returned and recycled with a brand-new paper exterior. At present the ‘Paper Says’ is just a clever design concept, but we think it could work …
