It has tracked key industry performance metrics since 2004. The Motorola RAZR V3 was the single most popular phone in Europe last quarter – nearly 5.3m Europeans bought one during the period. The V3 was especially strong in the UK, Italy and Spain, where its share ranged from 7.5 to 9%. Motorola may have had the most popular model, but Nokia had five of the top eight handsets. Nokia’s 6630, N70 and 6680 showed the impact of 3G in Europe.
