The camera was actually a bit disappointing – no autofocus, only low-res QCIF-format video, picture quality not great. Apart from that, the only downside to the phone is that it really didn’t look as if it’s an expensive device – it’s no fashion statement, but it could have been a little sexier. But there’s much on the plus side: the NetFront Internet browser is good, and its Smart-fit function manages well at getting web content into the screen. The handset supports Bluetooth 2.0 with the A2DP profile for stereo headsets; the Bluetooth support also includes the HID profile which allows the phone to be used as a remote control for PC and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The phone can synchronise contacts and calendar events both locally (with Outlook on a PC) and remotely, with remote servers. And it managed to impress us with its user-friendliness.
The classic shape and design will probably appeal to a male audience, and one thing’s for sure – you could always find place for this little fellow in your shirt pocket.
