due Q3/Q4 2006You might not think a phone that has been out a matter of weeks needs an upgrade, but the i310 is its replacement – a bigger internal hard disk (a whopping 8Gb rather than 3Gb in the i300 or 4Gb in the i300x), better camera (now 2mp against 1.3mp), USB 2.0 (usefully faster at data transfers) and a long-overdue upgrade to Windows Mobile 5.0
There’s still no 3G or WiFi, but you do get EDGE; and the screen is better than the N91’s. Overall it’s an unexciting phone to look at, and a bit chubby too because of 3G and the disk.
