Red Bend Software, maker of mobile software management and firmware over-the-air (FOTA) upgrades, has licensed its vCurrent Mobile client software to NEC for the Softbank 705N handset. That takes the client base for vCurrent to more than 40 phone models used by more than 45m consumers around the world.
